POKOTABI / Daikinboshi main store
大金星総本店 門前仲町店
Located near Monzen-nakacho Station, Daikinboshi main store pairs its signature street-style teppan yakisoba with piping-hot simmered offal, fried plates, and oven-baked gratins, accommodating everything from lunchtime sets to late-night drinks.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
The rich aroma of frying sauce drifts through Daikinboshi main store whenever the kitchen prepares its signature yatai-style teppan yonaki yakisoba. Cooked on the griddle in large batches once every 1 to 1 hours, the noodles prompt staff to circulate through the dining room collecting orders. Thick, chewy noodles coated in savory brown sauce can be enjoyed plain or upgraded with a runny fried egg, a folded omelet, or stewed beef tendon and scallions.
Between rounds of cold draft beer and highballs, diners have plenty of tavern classics to choose from. Steaming pots of simmered beef offal, sesame-scented pork kimchi stir-fry, and garlic-soy fried pork provide robust accompaniments. The kitchen also turns out Western-style comfort dishes, including deep-fried staples and an overflowing meat gratin baked with generous layers of eggplant, tomato, and melted cheese.
In addition to casual table seating on the first floor, the second floor features tatami and sunken horigotatsu seating suited for groups. Rice refills accompany weekday lunch sets, and evening hours run well past midnight, making the spot equally convenient for an after-work meal, a lively banquet, or a late-night final bowl of noodles.
